“When in doubt foul out” - C.F.

Callie Fries is a PACT varsity basketball player. She has been playing basketball for the last 6 years. Last year, Callie was on the varsity team, coached by Ben P. This year she was proud at how she improved since the beginning of the season. She doesn’t plan to play basketball after high school, unless she joins a intramural team. She is not hoping for a scholarship but if she attained one she would be pleased to receive one. She likes to play basketball because enjoy it because it is fun, exciting, and it keeps her in shape. Currently Callie is only playing fo PACT but she played for Zimmerman in the past. She’s also playing softball for PACT.

She thinks she will hopefully play better than last year. Last year Callie had never fouled out of a game. She is proud that she did well even though it was hard but she didn’t let that bother you. She wishes she would have implemented more things she learned in practice. Callie is a wing, She is fast and is all over the opponents. Teammate, Lauren Erickson, when asked about Callie said, “ She is so good, and I really learned a lot from her. She is also very supportive.”
