“Play every game like it’s your last” -J.S.
Jaylen Schweiger is a P.A.C.T. varsity basketball player. He has been playing basketball for the last 6 years. Last year, Jaylen was on the junior varsity team, coached by Mr. Reynolds. This year he strives to make Varsity. He doesn’t plan to play basketball after high school, unless he gets a scholarship, although he would be quite surprised if he obtained one. He would rather continue and play baseball in college. He likes to play basketball because he is quite tall and thinks he’s good. He’s also playing baseball for P.A.C.T., in fact, he’s the varsity captain.
He thinks he will hopefully play better than last year. Last year Jaylen had never fouled out of a game. He hopes he won’t foul out this year either. He’s looking forward to dunking on other people, now that he can. He was jokingly quoted as saying, “I want to dunk on a kid and make him cry, and then quit.” Jaylen is a power forward-a large forward who plays in the low post and typically has good rebounding skills. Varsity captain, Bennett Olson, when asked about Jaylen said, “Jaylen is caring, careful, funny, and cute!”
