Mr. Mathews (Editor in Chief)
Mr Mathews has been waiting for an opportunity to teach Journalism for 10 years! Now at PACT, he has the opportunity to guide young people in their efforts to shed light on compelling stories, and he is going to savor every minute of it.
Hi, I am Maria and I write for the PACT Pulse! I love to write about positive things happening at PACT, and get everyone's views on these topics! Journalism is a fun class that can be stressful at times, but mostly is stress free.
I like the teacher and the students in the class. We get more freedom with our writing than I thought we would. I write for the lifestyle section. On this team, I like writing about music, TV shows, and video games. This sem I hope to become a better writer.
(Noah Berglund) I like Journalism because we have a lot of freedom and we get to interview other students and get their opinions. I write for Panther Pride (sports), I write about sport topics. I hope to accomplish to have more people to know about our newspaper and to get them to read it.
I like that we can write about anything we want and that we can interact with other students by interviewing them about different topics to see what they think. I like that the class and teacher are pretty laid back. I write for Panther Pride (sports). I like writing recaps of games and doing player highlights on the team captains. This semester I hope to get more people reading our newspaper, and making people aware about the players and sports at our school.
